For those who have yet to hear, Our Director Benjamin Ojeda passed away on July 16, 2010. Although we are mourning the loss of our Father, Brother, Director, Husband, Grandfather, Uncle and Father-in-love, we rejoice in the knowledge that we know his life's work will continue until we meet again in the air as our Savior returns for His bride.

Director Ojeda was known as a big bear. A man who would do anything for you. He was also a man of faith. The Bible speaks of the "gift of Faith" that is given to some. Director Ojeda was one of those with this gift. A man who knew the Word inside and out. He was a man who had powerful opinions but had the wisdom to know when to use his opinion. He was my father-in-law but I knew him as dad. He was the man who led me back to the Lord after I had spent several years lost and without faith. He also showed me the love of a father as well as The Father. I am one of the many who love this man. He did all he did to the fullest of his ability.
[Directora de Ojeda era conocido como un gran oso. Un hombre que haría cualquier cosa por ti. Fue también un hombre de fe. La Biblia habla del "don de la fe" que se da a algunos. Director de Ojeda fue una de las personas con esta regalo. Un hombre que conocía el interior de la Palabra y por fuera. Era un hombre que había opiniones de gran alcance pero tuvo la sabiduría de saber cuando usar su opinión. Era mi padre-en-ley, pero lo conocí como padre. Fue el hombre que me llevó de nuevo al Señor después de haber pasado varios años perdido y sin fe. También me mostró el amor de un padre, así como el Padre. Yo soy uno de los muchos que aman a este hombre. Él hizo todo lo que hizo al máximo de su capacidad.]
I took this picture of him when we saw the land we were given for the first time. What you cannot see are the tears that flowed down his cheek as he looked at his God given vision coming true. One thing we must realize is that God did not give this vision only to Brother Ben, but to several others as well.

In other news, we were blessed this year to host our very first Pastor/Leadership Conference . It was a great success. We now have more than 30 students that started school on August 9, 2010. We had another 50 that wanted to come but we are contemplating adding a new session beginning in January or February. Keep this matter in prayer with us.
